Six Senses Silver Pasyon is a Luxury High End hotel. We will therefore judge it that way. It is located on a private island of Felicité in the Seychelles.
The review below is our independent opinion. We assess various components with a system of a maximum of 10 points. The total score is assessed in a maximum 5 star rating. In general we only post reviews when we can give at least a 3 star rating. If it is lower, we will not place a hotel anyway. We think that is a waste of time. The price per night that we use is always of the high season because we never travel during the rainy seasons and most people are tied to holiday periods anyway.

About the location 10/10
The location of Six Senses Zil Pasyon could not be better. The Seychelles are already a true wedding location with pristine white beaches. But the resort takes it one step further. It is located on the private island of Felicité which has the most beautiful rock formations of the entire Seychelles and is also the third largest island. With only 40 villas on the island and several beaches and swimming pools you will find yourself on an uninhabited hidden island with butler service. The island is full of palm trees and is the most beautiful place we have ever seen. Everything is built around the existing nature which ensures that immersed feeling in the middle of the beautiful nature. It is just perfect.
The Welcome 10/10
You are taken from the harbour by speed boat or helicopter. Whichever you take, both are incredibly comfortable. We took the boat and were immediately welcomed by the staff and received a drink, a life jacket (if we wanted) and an explanation of the duration of the trip to the Resort. Once arrived on the island, the General Manager was waiting for us and we were introduced to our personal GEM. A GEM is your Guest Experience Manager and is available 24/7 via Whatsapp or via Telephones anywhere on the island to ensure you have the time of your life. Our GEM was really fantastic and she immediately gave us a tour with a golf cart over the entire island. You will be taking a look at all the facilities such as the Wellness and Spa and the wine cellar. They introduce you to everyone and everyone already knows your name, it feels very much like home.
After the tour you will be taken to your Villa. In the Villa there is a letter waiting for you to welcome you along with a personalized beach bag with towels and two access passes for him and her for the room. Your GEM explains you about everything in the room such as how you connect to the bluetooth speaker and which buttons make the curtains close, and funny enough how the massage toilet works.
This is by a big margin the best welcome that we have ever had and we only know 2 other hotels where they offer a similar service.
Design and style 10/10
Another 10 points and more are on it’s way. There is a reason this is our # 1 resort from everything we’ve seen. The design of the villas is amazing. They are spacious with lots of light and the private pools are beautifully landscaped on the rocks and most (including ours) have sunset views. The style of building is modern and unique and that contrasts very well with the unique rocks and greenery of the Seychelles. Beautiful Experience Lounge corners have been created throughout the island where you can unwind We have, among other things, been lying in a hammock over the water in an outdoor cinema. But also up in the mountains of the islands with a real picnic setting on bean bags to see the sun sink into the sea in the evening. As a third highlight, we drank champagne on our own jetty, while we each received tasty snacks in a kind of 10-course dinner.
The Villa 10/10
There are two types of rooms that we have visited.
The Oceanfront Pool Villa 10/10
This villa has a great view of the ocean. In front of the door you can see a mix of spectacular rocks and some palm trees. The room is equipped with a coffee machine, an indoor and an outdoor fridge. A bluetooth speaker and a Kingsize bed. The private infinity pool overlooks the sea and its temperature is just right. The room also has a freestanding bath and rain shower and a swing in the bathroom for reading. There are two sun loungers outside with a parasol and a separate lounge area for relaxing. There is a separate area for your bags and a large wardrobe. There is also a desk with a hair dryer here. This room has everything you want.
The Private Four Bedroom Residence 11/10
Of course this score is impossible. Yet this place is so incredibly unique and that is what we wanted to indicate. The entire mansion is incredibly large and is built into the rocks. It looks a bit like an Ironman Villa and has two large swimming pools. The swimming pool on the ground floor is very large and has a whole deck with various sun beds. The upstairs swimming pool in the master bedroom has a glass bottom that overlooks the living room that is downstairs. Really cool. All rooms have a spacious bathroom with all the facilities that we also mentioned in the Oceanfront Pool Villa. It really doesn’t get any better than this.
Facilities
Wifi & Sockets: 9/10
The WIFI is perfect and super fast over the entire island. There were enough sockets to charge everything and also at the bedside table. There were already iPhone cables and USB cables in case you had forgotten them yourself.
Swimming pools: 10/10
The hotel has several swimming pools. The one at the restaurant is the largest and is very pretty. However, most guests lie at their own private swimming pool or on the beach. However, the swimming pool at the Spa is undoubtedly the most beautiful in the world. It lies in between the rocks near a walkway and it looks really surreal.
View and judge for yourself.
Fitness & Wellness: 9/10
The hotel has a nice gym. Your view is of course over the ocean, but we have not used it. We really have to mention the fantastic Wellness Spa. At the intake you will receive a form where you can indicate whether you have allergies, certain parts of your body that require more or less attention and what your overall stress situation is.
After that you can choose a scent and a massage oil. They range from relaxing to warm. The massages are very affordable compared to the room rate. It is even possible to have your own therapist fly in from another Six Senses Resort. This is really something for the rich & famous of course.
Restaurant options & Breakfast 8/10

The food is terribly good and the table service too. All Western options are possible, but signature Creole dishes are also offered that are inspired by cooking in the Seychelles.
Housekeeping & Cleaning 10/10
The room was always perfectly clean. You didn’t have to tell when they were allowed to clean. As soon as you left your room there was someone at the resort who saw you walking and then told housekeeping that your room could be cleaned. Sublime.
Staff 10/10
The staff is very friendly and helpful. The best thing is that they all know your name. However, our GEM is what stayed with us the most. She was so sweet and was always there for us. You only had to call and within 5 minutes she was in front of a golf cart. There is also a doctor on the island. Judith once had a splinter in her foot and again someone was there within 5 minutes to get it out professionally.
Maintenance 10/10
Everything is very well maintained.
Value for money 8/10
The Resort is not cheap. For an average traveler, probably even far beyond reach. However, we recommend that anyone planning a honeymoon should consider this Resort. It is an experience that will stay with you forever. In our opinion, that is also the tricky thing about the 1 to 5 star rating that the hotel industry uses. You can already be in a five-star resort for 100 EUR, but there really isn’t a good indicator for the real High End Hotels. For anyone who wants to see the most beautiful hotel in the world for his bucket list, we definitely recommend a few nights. That money will come back but the experience sticks.
Sustainability 10/10
Again a big 10. Absolutely earned because everything is really designed around the environment and nature and the island is extremely respected. In addition, they have 2 divers who on a daily basis replant corals around the island. There is also no single-use plastic on the entire island. All of this has been banned. All the water that is used is also filtered by its own purification plant on the island.
